Placement summary
Diet Chef is part of a fast growing group of e-commerce companies specialising in food and drink including coffee, craft beer, meals and diet shakes and bars. The companies use modern web technologies including Python, Django, PostgreSQL and deploys on Amazon Web Services. We're looking for a graduate to develop our website for existing customers to allow them to manage their orders with us directly rather than having to go through the customer service team. We would also like to add extra services for our customers such as weight and calorie tracking.
Job description
Project Description
The project will involve developing requirements by interviewing staff from customer services, operations and marketing. The usability and functionality of the existing site will need to be reviewed.
The next step will be to develop the software for order management, returns management, and integrate this with MyFitnessPal weight and exercise tracking. The development will be test driven with unit and integration tests as an integral part of the code.
Web design for the project will be done by an external agency.

- Reduce the number of customer service enquiries as customers use self service instead.
