East Kilbride based CCL Components have outstanding opportunities for two talented and ambitious graduates to embark on a 12 month project which aims at providing support for the development of a new product range. Our ideal candidates will have left college or university recently with an excellent knowledge of electrical/energy/renewable engineering and have an absolute commitment to developing their career with a fast growing and innovative business.

Project Description
We are currently developing an innovative power solution which could either be used in conjunction with renewable energy power supplies or generators. Given the current position of the new technology within product development, we are now looking to recruit two graduates who have expertise in power electronics, to assist our wider development team in getting the project to the completion phase.
These roles will report directly to the Project Manager. Key members of the team that the candidate will interact with will be the Sales Director and the Technical Sales team.
Placement Objectives
To provide graduate level, professional support to our new product development team with the aim of ensuring that the project is delivered on time and to the highest possible standards.
Role Description
Main Tasks:
- The development of the technical manual for purposes of product CE marking
- Understanding key market players and products
- General product development tasks
- Copywriting power products for the eCommerce website
- Update manuals and other related literature
- Assist the project manager to develop the various models in the product range for full certification
Qualifications
You will ideally have a degree in Electrical/Energy/Renewable Engineering, although we would accept HND qualifications, providing you have some recent relevant experience.

- A competent knowledge and understanding of electrical theory and low voltage AC & DC power systems

- Competent self management skills
- Project management experience
Desirable Skills
- Experience with battery systems, up to 48 volts Practical electrical installation experience
- Possess a working knowledge of CAD software
