Placement summary

East Kilbride based Eureka Solutions, a leading provider of business systems, are looking to recruit a highly talented graduate to work with us as we embark on the next phase of business growth. This 12 month placement is aimed at providing project management administration support and you will play a key role in the implementation of new processes which will help our project teams as they travel across the UK. If delivered successfully, this placement will clearly demonstrate the requirement for this role to become an established position within our business.

Project Description

Our two core principles of technical excellence and customer service have helped to establish us as an award winning systems provider in the mid market ERP, CRM and BI arena. However, in this next phase of our business growth, we are looking to diversify our client base, taking on larger clients who will require dedicated project management. This placement will aim to establish the need for on-going assistance and support and will improve our overall back office functions to support our project teams, so that we can service larger, more challenging clients, whilst maintaining our exceptional levels of customer service.

Placement Objectives

The aim of this placement is to augment our existing project team by creating a new support function to allow us for our continued growth requirements, especially for our work with larger clients.

Role Description

Main Tasks:

• Co-ordinate internal resources and third party/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Arrange consultant travel plans
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Create/maintain back office project systems
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation

Qualifications

HND or Degree in a Business related discipline or Accounting/Finance

Skills / Experience

Essential Skills

• Outstanding communication skills - the role requires regular contact with clients
• Well-established personal management and organisational skills, you will be tasked with organising a large project team
• Effective problem solving skills
• Can work effectively on your own as well as part of a high performing team
• Excellent IT skills, in all MS Office applications

Desirable Skills

• Appreciation for what is required to perform successfully in a role like this
• Commercial acumen
• Knowledge of accounts
