Project Description
As a Management Graduate, you'll enjoy a fast-paced development programme jam-packed with non-stop learning. Personal development and growth is integral to this programme. Getting hands-on experience in different business unit operations, you'll get stuck in straight away. You'll need to pick up technical, personal and leadership skills along your way, but you'll soon be taking responsibility for small teams and projects.
Our Management Graduate scheme typically lasts 12 months and involves a series of placements in our business units. In each rotation, you will work closely with senior management and colleagues to expand your range of skills and competencies. At the same time, you will be expected to make a genuine contribution to the organisation’s success from a very early stage.

Role Description
You will be mentored and encouraged to realise your full potential through practical experience and a structured development plan, but you will also contribute to the business from day one and this will include all of the following tasks:
- Developing an in-depth understand of the business process at Stoddart’s (from end to end), and of the systems that support our business.
- Managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring these deliver tangible results which add value.
- Evaluating current processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and taking ownership of these (for example in relation to Production, Quality and Health & Safety), where appropriate doing so applying Lean tools and techniques.
- Streamlining information in a logical way and being innovative in designing improved systems.
- Identifying metrics which will support the business, providing analysis and assisting in producing user friendly reports.
- Gaining an understanding of new product development (NPD) processes, and becoming a key internal contact for new product development, through market research and production capability awareness.
- Taking on full managerial responsibilities for an area of production.
- Improving communication (both internal and external) across all areas of the business.
- Providing a monthly management report to the Senior Management Team.
Qualifications
HND or Degree qualified, in business related discipline. A food manufacturing related qualification would be ideal but is not essential
