St Andrews Golf Experience are looking for a professional and customer-oriented graduate to join the team for an exciting 12 month placement. The ideal candidate will be multi-lingual and have marketing skills which will assist us in researching and further developing international markets and improving our digital marketing strategies. The role will also consist on administration roles on the routine of the business, such as booking confirmations with suppliers, payment schedules to suppliers and preparation of clients folders/vouchers prior to arrival.
This project is aimed at helping us work towards our growth plans and we see this graduate placement as being key to this. We are a small but dedicated management team and we are becoming increasingly stretched in servicing the business to the high level of customer satisfaction that we have set, at the same time as developing our digital marketing strategy, to help us grow in existing and expand in to new international markets. With 80% of our income generated from French speaking territories we see this graduate placement helping us to open up at least one new market, complementing our existing revenue stream, within the next 12 – 18 months.
Overall we see this as a strategically important role within the business, not only supporting the Directors to cover areas where we are currently stretched but the successful candidate would be responsible for developing capability within the management team to drive this business forward in a professional and customer-centric manner. If this model is successful this would encourage us to recruit further staff to accelerate our ultimately growth ambitions.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have either an HND or Degree in Business Administration or Marketing with some Sales experience.
Skills / Experience
Essential Skills:
- At least one second language ( French, German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish or other)
- Marketing and Sales (especially for website and social media)
- Self-motivated, professional and positive
- Highly developed organisational skills
Desirable Skills:
- Effective sales vocabulary
