Placement summary
Provista UK Ltd have an excellent entry-level role for a graduate looking for a career in marketing. This Hamilton-based placement, will offer the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of marketing for one of Scotland’s fastest growing companies in the Technology & IT Sector. With guidance and mentoring from Directors, you will increase market awareness of the company through developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns. On completion of a successful 12 month placement, there may be an opportunity of a permanent, full time position.

Project Description
The primary objective of this entry-level marketing role is to increase market awareness and customer acquisition for the company. To do this, we would expect you to be able to develop, deploy and manage integrated marketing campaigns by working with our internal sales team and external stakeholders.
This role will bring key additional resource to our Sales and Marketing department and if successful would hope to develop this into a permanent full time position. We are looking for the position to start immediately.
Placement Objectives
To assist the successful candidate in developing a career in marketing, while assisting the company in developing and executing marketing projects in order to raise brand awareness.
Role Description
Reporting into the company’s Senior Directors, you will work on strategic marketing projects including campaigns using online, written and tele sales resources. You will be expected to manage marketing budgets and track the success of your marketing campaigns for future strategic planning and development.
As the successful candidate, you will gain experience working in a marketing role in a business technology environment and receive guidance, training and direction in the role.
Some of your key day-to-day roles would see you in charge of:
- maintaining the company’s corporate branding,
- updating the company website and releasing news articles,
- handling the company’s social networking accounts,
- planning event attendance,
- managing databases and CRM systems
- managing the company’s collateral portfolio – case studies and product information sheets.
In addition, you will play a key role in helping to develop new IT services in order to take them to market.
Occasional travel may be required for the role and the company is looking for the position to start immediately.
Qualifications
Graduate from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or HND, in a relevant marketing or business discipline.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Confident presentations skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Self-motivated and performance driven
- Strong analytical skills
- Good level of IT competency, especially with Microsoft Office
- Experience of online applications, e.g. content management systems, and social media and networks.
Experience of working in a marketing, IT, or business technology environment, either in a university or commerical environment, would be beneficial, however the successful candidate will receive a large amount of guidance and direction in the role.
