Pròiseact nan Ealan (PNE) based in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, is recruiting for a recent graduate for a 12 month Marketing role. The successful graduate will be responsible for preparing and delivering a Marketing Strategy Action Plan and will increase and improve PNE’s marketing communications and message through their new website and social media such as Twitter, Linked-In, Facebook, blog and e-newsletters.

By communicating and contacting people regularly, the visibility and message of PNE will reach its key audience and will help in supporting new funding and service opportunities.
This successful graduate will ensure that a process is in place to tie social media to PR activity and to keep profiles up to date in order to raise awareness and spread information about Proiseact nan Ealan’s work. The graduate will implement a monthly and quarterly marketing system, all aspects of which will be monitored regularly by a key member of the management staff.
The graduate will heighten the profile of the national Gaelic arts agency, creating powerful key messages and a series of feature ideas for regional and national press to celebrate the work of the company.
Tasks of the role will include:
• Development of new website
• Identify key contacts and activities with PNE on a monthly basis
• Update customer database
• Create content and maintain a new PNE monthly newsletter
• Weekly social media activity day
• Networking
• Collecting and collating information to analyse markets and recognise the target market opportunities
• Gaelic arts sector research
• Web review and maintenance
• Develop social media presence through Twitter, Facebook and Linked-in etc.
• Creation of a social media manual for hand over at the end of the placement
• Prepare and deliver a 3 year Marketing Strategy Action Plan.
This position is part funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the European Regional Development Fund.
