Exterity, which is headquartered in Dalgety Bay, Fife near Edinburgh, are looking for a Graduate Software Engineer to work within our engineering teams initially for 12 months, with the possibility that it could become a permanent position for the right candidate. This role is ideally suited to for a graduate who can demonstrate their capabilities in an environment which will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

Over the duration of the placement you will be working on real live project of our customers and this will allow you to gain exposure of working on commercial projects and you will be able to develop your current understanding of technology in a practical setting.
Placement Objectives
During your placement you will get to put your technical skills into practice.
Role Description
As a front end developer you will join our agile UX team to develop apps for the enterprise video market. You will develop for the latest SmartTVs, mobile devices and tablets using cutting edge frameworks and will be working to meet the high expectations of our global customers from Hotels in Dubai, Premier League football stadia to broadcasters and international banks.
UX is at the heart of day to day life, watching and interacting with video and we want you to be a part of it.
Qualifications
If you have graduated in Computer Science, Electronics or a related discipline, this could be the opportunity for you.
Skills / Experience
Essential Skills
If you have an interest in UX design and implementation we want to speak to you. Whilst not essential, a degree is desirable, and you are likely to be studying software engineering, computing science or a related subject.
