Successful delivery of the project will allow the company to strategically plan marketing spend with a high confidence in the approach built by the graduate to deliver a target return on marketing spend to be stabilised at a ratio of 3:1.

Placement Objectives

Successful delivery of the project will deliver a tested and documented approach to all of our digital customer acquisition activity that delivers a stable return on marketing spend at a ratio of 3:1. This will allow the company to strategically plan online marketing spend going forward with a high confidence in the forecasted returns.

You will be asked to propose a plan for the use of any mix of online acquisition methods you feel relevant in the pursuit of the project’s stated objectives. Your plan will be evaluated by the CMO and revised if necessary. When it is agreed, you will be assigned an initial budget to begin testing your approach. You will have autonomy at this time to adjust your plan based on analysis of feedback metrics and customer acquisition data. As the plan develops the CMO will seek to release more budget to your activity until your approach is being delivered in full.

Reporting to the CMO you will be key to the planning and development of methods, processes and budgets to be used going forward for the company’s digital marketing strategy. You will then be responsible for rolling-out activity and ongoing management of the digital acquisition processes during the initial test and learn phase. This will include:

  • Digital advertising: Development and refinement of copy for PPC / network banner advertising. Interpreting analysis metrics and further refinement, testing and learning of new approaches.

  • SEO: Utilise learnings from above to target SEO activity to improve performance with natural search.
