Job description
Project Description
Over the last 15 years we have operated as an IT & Software Service Provider to companies in the SME sector – acting as their IT department and delivering pro-active and managed services.
Over the years we have experienced massive changes in how our customers utilise IT & Software in their day to day business activities. We have also seen our client base grow from small 5 user, single location firms to large Public Sector organisations with multiple offices and over 150 staff.
We are now at a stage where we are being asked to detail our SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) and working methodology in greater detail which can then be monitored and reported on.
We have strong working process and our own HelpDesk which we developed as a tool to manage our SLAs and client deliverables. Part of the project is to revisit some of our processes so they are aligned with our client base now.
Placement Objectives
The Placement Objectives are two-fold:
1: We wish to improve and align our services and documentation to match our larger client’s demands and expectations.
2: Identify a suitable addition to our IT Engineering Department.
Role Description
The role will involve both research and hands on IT and Network skills.
We will expect the successful candidate to be able to evaluate our existing document library and suggest technical and process enhancement we might adopt.
The successful candidate will also be tasked with preparing and presenting their findings and make suggestions for new working practices within the first 3 months of the project.
