Company information

The Highland Military Tattoo company was formed in 2014 and is the vehicle which drove the successful inaugural Military Tattoo which was held at Fort George in September 2014.

The event was a sell out, which attracted over 6000 spectators over 3 nights. The Highland Military Tattoo works closely with official partners, The Highlanders’ Museum provide administrative support to the Tattoo. The Highland Military Tattoo company is run by a Board of Directors.

The Tattoo provides a fitting finale to a season of Summer events in the Highland capital. Because of the popularity of the event last year the seating capacity has been increased to 10,000 over 3 nights and a Matinee on the Saturday. The main theme of the Tattoo this year is the Battle of Waterloo. This theme will be portrayed through vignettes, song and verse. As well as featuring some of the finest UK military bands the Tattoo will also play host to an international act, local highland dancers and some of the Highlands top youth musicians. The Tattoo is then rounded off by a spectacular fireworks display (weather permitting).

As it is the year of Food and Drink the Highland Military Tattoo will also have a Catering and Retail village showcasing local produce which will be open to ticket holders prior the main performance.
