Taytech Environmental who provide chemical and engineering solutions to a variety of sectors are looking to recruit a graduate, to work on an important business growth project aimed at enhancing our integrated business management system, to ensure compliance in a number of key areas. This 12 month placement, based in Glasgow but will involve significant UK wide travel.
Job description
Project Description
As part of a rapid expansion plan Taytech currently have the need to upgrade current the company’s integrated business management system with a view to protecting the new expanded company from future compliance challenges in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality areas.
The placement will involve travel throughout the UK and you will be playing a key role in underpinning the growth targets of Taytech. Following successful delivery of the initial placement, a full time, permanent role, could be available.
Placement Objectives
- Taytech will have an upgraded IBMS after the project
- We aim to be leaders in Risk Assessment and Method Statements in our sector
- We will have an accreditation plan and timeline
- The graduate input will lead the way for a full time employment opportunity
Role Description
Main Tasks:
- Health and Safety excellence during all tasks following graduate RAMS provided by Taytech
- Provide compliance support for UK technical team
- Administration and development of Integrated Business Management System
- Identify improvements and implement required actions
- Liaise with other team members throughout the company and with customers
Qualifications
Ideally, we are looking for applications from graduates with qualifications in a Health and Safety related discipline.

- Must be a helpful, understanding and considerate colleague
- First class personal management skills
- Comfortable communicating with people at all levels of the organisation
- IT literate
