SoConnect Ltd, a fast-growing telecoms company, has an excellent opportunity for a graduate to help expand our business through relationship building, customer service and account management. This is a 12 month placement with view to permanent hire, based
in Galashiels.
Job description
Working closely with the Sales and Operations Manager, you will be looking for opportunities to supply our range of services to businesses across the UK.
You will manage new enquiries generated from the website and proactively build relationships with these, as well as sales customers from Pay Per Click advertising, in order to bring them into Account Management and increase sales.
Whilst this is primarily a desk based role, the successful applicant will be highly driven, motivated and able to use their own initiative.
Day to day tasks will include:
- Following up warm leads generated from website and direct enquiries
- Following up daily account management calls
- Building and designing Account Management plans
- Scoping and agreeing these Account Management plans with customers
- Implementing Account Management plans on a daily, monthly and annual basis
- Customer service and liaison as part of the wider team
- Liaising with suppliers and project implementation
- Contributing to the strategic sales strategy of company.

- Any previous commercial experience a plus.
- Some knowledge or general understanding of any of the following would be beneficial: - IP Telephony / VOIP; LAN/WAN Networking; Hosted/Cloud Applications.
