Project Description
There is now an excellent opportunity for a 12-month graduate placement to develop and implement a range of new heritage tours on the Islands, including developing a booking system and creating a marketing strategy.

Role Description
The successful candidate will develop and market a new range of accessible heritage tours.
Specific tasks of the placement will include:
- Develop a range new accessible heritage tours for the forthcoming season.
- Create itineraries for the private guided tours.
- Establish a pricing structure and an online booking system for tours and hires.
- Create and implement a digital marketing strategy, to promote the tours on social media.
- Design and produce promotional materials.
- Introduce a customer evaluation process to capture customer feedback.
- Generate engaging social media content.
- Develop a system for managing online and cash payments.

Qualifications
Minimum Degree Level, preferably in Marketing or related discipline. Other subjects accepted, provided the candidate has the required skills.

- High level of computer literacy.
- Project planning and management skills.
- A good understanding of general marketing principles
- Working knowledge of social media and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to evaluate and appraise options.

- Previous tour guiding experience.
- Driving licence.
- Ability to speak other languages.
