Oil Technics is a chemical manufacturer, based in Gourdon, Aberdeenshire.  We have an excellent and rare opportunity for a talented and highly motivated Business Graduate to work on a key new business development project across the entire Oil Technics Group (of 3 Companies).  This is a 12-month placement and will be focused on the full range of activities associated with sourcing, gaining and implementing new business opportunities across the Group and in relation to all of our diverse product ranges.

Project Description

We are focused on increasing sales to our existing customer base as well as sourcing and expanding sales into new market sectors both with in the UK and Internationally. You will be responsible for all aspects relating to locating, applying, monitoring and implementing tendered and frame-worked contract opportunities.  This project will work across all three divisions within the Company and will be responsible for sourcing and applying for contract/tender opportunities in the UK and Internationally.  You will also be able to work with distributors to assist in new business opportunities.

In addition, you will work closely with the Marketing Department to implement new tenders/contracts and will be responsible for locating, applying and monitoring Marketing Awards & Competition opportunities for individual products and the wider Company as a whole.

Placement Objectives

This placement will bring together current systems already in place for tender contracts and will increase and expand these efforts to generate an innovative and creative new revenue stream for the Company.

Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity with an expanding company to be responsible (after training) for the development of an essential area of new business revenue within the Company.

Overall, this will be a very significant role and will provide the successful applicant with plenty of opportunities to apply your skills and develop personally and professionally.  The role is very diverse as you will be responsible for locating and obtaining new business across three distinct Companies, which operate with a diverse range of products.  It will require commitment, dedication and enterprise to source and implement new business opportunities, but the rewards for a positive placement outcome will be hugely beneficial, both personally and professionally.

There is the potential after a successful placement to grow within the company.

Qualifications

Degree in marketing or business would be ideal for the role
