Moray Reach Out is a social enterprise with a remit of supporting vulnerable or protected adults through offering training opportunities. They are now looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to develop and implement a new marketing strategy.
This 12 month project will entail updating the current processes and maximising use of digital marketing tools in order to increase customer base and sustainability.

Project Description
Moray Reach Out manages four business ventures and sites each with their own specialisms. As a result new Marketing Strategy & Communications Plan is now required in order to achieve an enhanced online presence, acquire a broader customer base and strengthen the sustainability of Moray Reach Out.
Specific tasks of the placement will include:
- Assessing the current marketing processes and tools
- Undertaking business needs’ review with the staff
- Developing a 2 year Marketing Strategy & Communications Plan
- Implementing the Marketing Strategy & Communications Plan – this will entail setting up and maximising use of digital marketing tools, linking the website to the social media channels (primarily Twitter and Facebook), creating a blog and an e-newsletter, and developing joint marketing materials for all of Moray Reach Out’s ventures (leaflets, videos, digital photo displays, joint and individual to each project as budget allows)
- Delivering an in-house training to other members of staff so that they can fully participate in digital communications with each other and clients
- Increasing digital presence in order to establish a broader customer base and increase its profile in Moray
- Reviewing the Marketing Strategy & Communications Plan to ensure its fitness for purpose
- Developing a handover note to ensure the continuity

Qualifications
Minimum HND qualification. All subjects accepted provided the candidate has the required skills.

Essential Skills
- Knowledge and experience of digital marketing tools
- Knowledge and experience of general marketing principles/processes
- Must be creative (design & presentation of materials)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrable ability to work as part of a team
- Desire to succeed and commitment to meet outcomes (drive & enthusiasm)
Desirable Skills
- Driving licence and access to vehicle (expenses paid from base to other sites)
- Knowledge of writing for the web, blogs, social media e.g. Twitter
