Project Description
Hunted Cow Studios Ltd wishes to heighten the awareness of their company and their products through press releases, social media and other avenues as yet not known or unidentified.
They currently do not have a dedicated marketing or PR role in the company. The successful graduate will be critical in formalising the marketing efforts and establishing the necessary strategies, processes and contacts.
Currently Hunted Cow Studios Ltd have over 750,000 registered users and wish to seek new and innovative channels and methods of raising awareness and attracting new users and players with a view to raising their player numbers significantly.
Known but as yet not used channels e.g. YouTube, will be used to direct online traffic to the Hunted Cow website to increase the number of players to their games.
The successful project will result in a stronger company identify, increased player numbers, increased media engagement, increased visibility and ultimately revenue to the company.
The graduate will complete the following activities and tasks:
● Develop marketing strategy and plan
● Engage with customers across all existing communication channels (forums, social)
● Reach out to and maintain relationships with the games media via different channels (email, Twitter etc.)
● Gather information about product updates and ensure they are communicated with current customers and the media.
● Plan and create content to generate interest from new potential customers and the media
● Analyse data and trends based on marketing activities to ensure they are effective
● Seek out opportunities for cost effective advertising and track results
● Create video content for YouTube, Twitch and other media
● Introduce new ways to connect with Games community
● Create manual/handbook for all above activities and processes to enable other staff to continue activities
This position is part funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the European Regional Development Fund.
Qualifications
Minimum HNC level qualification. Any subject/discipline accepted.
