Placement summary
Angus Dundee Distillers are recruiting for a graduate for a 12 month Health and Safety role based in their Tomintoul distillery. The successful graduate will undertake a series of projects associated with Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) compliance.
Job description
It is expected that during the placement the candidate will have the necessary skills to understand and address all safety issues on site and be able to fully converse with various regulatory bodies in respect of all HS&E matters. The projects that the
graduate will undertake are: 1. Address the current Comah requirements for the distillery 2. Set up the Fastmaint plant maintenance system 3. Develop HAZOP, DSEAR and SIL for all plant 4. Update contractor competency policy On completion of the project it
is expected that all manuals developed will be provided for training of relevant personnel. There may also be the opportunity for the graduate to continue in the role to address future HS&E projects. This position is part funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise
and the European Regional Development Fund.

Minimum HNC/HND in relevant discipline;
NEBOSH qualification
Skills / Experience
Essential: • NEBOSH qualification • Ability to carry out Risk Assessments • Computer literate • Experience or knowledge in COMAH and DSEAR • Work on own initiative • HNC/HND in relevant discipline
