Glasgow based Adeo Group is looking for a talented marketing graduate for an exciting 12 month placement. The role will see the successful candidate working with a number of client companies, with the aim of enhancing their online presence. You will provide a first class digital marketing service, which will include SEO and search marketing.

Project Description

This is a significant project for our company and will consist of working with various clients and helping their websites to success via online marketing activities. Depending on the success of the project, this could lead us to implementing this type of support to clients on a permanent basis.

Placement Objectives

This placement will allow a marketing graduate to gain invaluable skills in the online marketing world.

Role Description

We have a number of clients who have an online presence and need SEO and search marketing carried out in order to help their websites be found.

This role will allow you to take your marketing skills and develop them further along with gaining new marketing skills in areas you may not have covered.

You will be required to meet with clients and gain an understanding of their market place along with finding out about competitors and putting a plan together to gain success with their website.

You will be trained by professionals to help guide you through the steps required to bring our client sites to the top of search engines.

Finally you will be reporting back to clients and management about the various projects you will be working on.

Main Tasks:

• Meeting with clients
• Carrying out various tasks to optimise their websites
• Training clients on how to optimise their website
• Social media marketing
• Reporting to clients and managers

Qualifications

HND or Degree in Marketing

Skills / Experience

Essential Skills

• Familiar with latest marketing best practice
• Confident communicator and comfortable using Word, Powerpoint and Excel
• First class presentation skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working in a similar environment
