Windswept Brewing Co Ltd, an award winning craft brewery based in Moray, has an exciting 12 week digital marketing placement opportunity. We are looking for a student who is creative with knowledge of social media and marketing principles to assist us in raising awareness of our brand through digital and social media platforms.
The successful candidate will support the development of a 12-24 month digital marketing strategy that will enhance the brand and the brand image in both UK and international markets as well as within the brewery.
The preferred start date is 26th of June 2017 however this is flexible and depending on the successful candidate’s availability.

This position is part funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the European Regional Development Fund.
To raise awareness of the brand through digital and social media platforms.
Specific tasks of the placement will include:
- Provide an overview on the current use of social media and how the brand is projected, what works well and what needs a different approach;
- Develop and implement a short term plan to put in place quick fixes;
- Assist with the development of a clear social media strategy to be implemented during the rest of the placement and continued over the next 12 -24 Months;
- Begin implementation and training of staff on social media strategy.
Open to all current HNC, HND and undergraduate degree students who will return to their studies after the summer. Qualifications related to marketing/digital marketing or international marketing would be preferred, however other candidates will be considered provided they have the required skills.

The student will be encouraged to attend any seminars held in the area relating to the project and will have a beer allowance each month for research and marketing purposes.

We deliver direct to outlets across Moray, the Highlands, Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh and Glasgow. We also have distributions covering the rest of the UK. We are currently exporting beer across 6 European countries and Canada and, with a dedicated export manager, we plan to expand further into global markets.
