We are seeking an ambitious life scientist interested in a career Business Development who is not scared of a challenge to join our vibrant team. This is a client facing Business Development role. You will support our team in generating new enquiries and leads for one of our product/tissue lines, details of which will be confirmed.

Project Description

The successful candidate will proactively identify and qualify new contacts that are relevant to the high quality human tissue products and services offered by Tissue Solutions Ltd. The initial work will be internet and phone based research to generate a list of key targets. They will then prepare emails/marketing materials and make contact with them in an attempt to make a sale.

Main tasks:

  • Developing an understanding of the type of end uses who would use the product/tissue
  • Internet and phone based research to identify possible contacts
  • Preparing marketing materials and emails to allow them to contact the client with the right message
  • Managing the sales cycle from enquiry generation to order in if appropriate

The focus will be on identifying clients in need of fresh diseased and normal bloods, urine, saliva, skin biopsies etc collected under our own ethics.

Skills / Experience

Essential Skills

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively

Desirable Skills

  • Working knowledge of social media management
  • If you’ve worked in the biotechnology industry at all it would be a bonus but by no means necessary
  • Experience of using Mailchimp or similar email marketing platform
