The successful applicant will have an exciting role, working closely with various key senior business partners. The goal is to help the Company expand into new markets, new areas and perhaps even new products or services, depending on the findings of the graduate through their market research. If done well, the business will succeed in this expansion effort.
This is a 12 month placement, with the potential to develop into a permanent role.
The overall aim of this placement is to support the ongoing growth aspirations of the group and specifically, to identify and implement improvements to the business development tactics that are deployed primarily in the north east of Scotland but into other markets which the successful graduate will identify as part of the placement.
The project will require the graduate, to work closely with other business partners and focus their time on helping us get into new markets, improve our market position. In addition, the graduate will play a key role in expanding our business across the North East of Scotland and across the North West of England. They will help identify new potential business and services that we could offer in these areas by gaining a full understanding of the local markets.
To support the growth aspirations of Space Solutions by identifying new target markets and improve current market position.
- Undertake market research activity to identify potential new target markets and improve current market position
- Display analysis skills to be able to deliver conclusions based on your research findings in the form of professional and presentable presentations
- Co-ordinate campaigns via the appropriate digital channels to showcase our offering and brand position,
- Work closely with other colleagues to create content and material for marketing promotion,
- Undertake adhoc duties which support the growth aspirations.

Skills / Experience
The successful graduate will most likely come with a Business Studies, Sales & Marketing or IT type degree level qualification.
They should be strong and confident and possess excellent phone manner skills. They should have a confident outgoing effervescent personality

As part of your ScotGrad placement, you will be able to participate in a couple of training courses mainly online, and one classroom based. The courses are themed around environmental management and quality standards and will provide you with knowledge and skills which will enhance your current and future skills.
