Due to our continued growth, we now an excellent opportunity for a marketing graduate, with an interest in developing in a Marketing/Sales role, to work with us on a key business project. Our ideal candidate will possess the ideas and flair to properly promote our company and the new developments we have made whilst also developing core sales skills.

Project Description

Our aim is to raise our profile within the UK. 

The project is based around the development of a marketing strategy for the short and medium term using various platforms.

We have a wide scope, working with local authorities, emergency services, haulage companies and the passenger transport industry and a full­time position with increased salary would be available for the right individual, following the successful completion of the 12 month placement. Overall, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate, to work with a company covering the whole of the UK in a multi faceted industry.

Placement Objectives

The objective of this placement is for you to deploy their recently acquired skills to create and implement a marketing strategy for our business to help us raise the profile of our company and our products in the UK and overseas.

Role Description

You will work with the existing sales team, reporting directly to the sales manager. You will be given the authority to create pathways to new opportunities for the company, it is anticipated that this will involve multiple platforms including traditional methods alongside website, social media etc.

Main Tasks and objectives:

  • Increase company profile
  • Maintain and develop website, brochures etc
  • Develop new marketing streams such as mailshots etc Participation in relevant National & European Trade Events


HNC, HND or Degree in appropriate subject. Ideally marketing or business.

Skills / Experience

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Computer literacy
  • Understanding of current marketing best practice, including digital marketing
  • Creativity
  • Strong work ethic, as part of a team and as an individual
  • The focus to see the task through to successful completion

Desirable Skills

  • Full clean driving licence would be a bonus
