The intern will be involved in developing a flow cytometry method for analysis of specific immune cell populations in blood samples. This internship will involve project preparation/performing experiments in the laboratory using flow cytometers/data management and reporting.The key objective is to develop a valid method that can be used in toxicology studies.

Placement benefits

Charles River will provide training in the necessary laboratory techniques to ensure safety and quality while in the laboratory.

The project will teach key industry skills in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), providing an insight into compliance with regulatory standards. The placement-holder will gain experience in the performance of a study from set up to delivery of results, learning the documentation skills necessary for industry.
