The successful candidate will carry out an operation efficiency project by using 6S methodology to improve and standardise the Molecular laboratory areas. This role will include training in the 6S processes and rolling out of the improvements to all labs within the department.
The core role will be to lead the 6S implementation throughout the Molecular laboratories in conjuction with the 6S team representative and responsibility for rolling out the implementation of the 6S methodology throughout the Molecular areas.
The project will support the Molecular Biology team by helping to improve safety, housekeeping and standardise processes to make them more efficient. The benefits of 6S are higher efficiencies, less stress, fewer accidents and higher levels of quality.
