Placement summary

The aim of this project is to investigate/research and complete feasibility testing of rapid microbiological methods as alternative to tradiditonal namual methods. This will include an evaluation and update of exisiting technologies, experimenal testing with automated endotoxin methods to evaluate feasibility as replacement methods. Any data will be included in a research report.

Project Description

The successful candidate will be expeced to carry out microbiology processes as detailed in protocols and/or manuals, including but not limited to dilution, titration and instrument set up and data analysis. They will be given appropriate training to carry out these tasks. 

They will be expected to record data and to present data to a lead scientist in a clear and concise manner and offer interpretations of the data.

The successful candidate will also be expected to write a report at the end of the project detailing work undertaken and results obtained,  There wil also be the opportunity to present findings to the wider Development Services group.
