Placement summary

The successful candidate will complete a data project to review client information, admin tasks with data, and creation of a client database. The project will likely also include a sub-project to evaluate shipment turn-around times and update documentation.

We will provide training in the appropriate corporate systems and provide you with invaluable experience of working life in a fast-paced life sciences organisation.

Job description

Project Description

The biorepository department is a small size self-contained business unit which is responsible for cold storage of client material. In addition to the project the student will have the opportunity to learn the biorepository functions and how this fits into the wider organisation.

The role will involve admin tasks and involving the creation of structured data and a data base of client information. This will involve the use of Excel on a daily basis, There is also a sub-project planned to examine shipment turn-around time which will potentially require documentation updates. 

Placement Objectives

We expect the the project will have several key deliverables:

  • creation of a restructured client data set
  • creation of client database within biorepository. 

Success will be measured by the roll out of new data structured and database.

Qualifications
